>Soon Secretary V'nquera entered, wearing a different diplomatic uniform
but
>otherwise the same, pointy-nosed Venasian. "Gentle tides, Admiral and
>Commanders. I am Secretary V'nquera, diplomatic attache' to Pacifica.
How
>may I be of service today?"
>
>t'Llhweiir spoke first, "Gentle tides, Mr. Secretary (OOC: or is it
Madame.
> Can't quite remember.). I am Admiral t'Llhweiir from Starfleet
Command,
>and I am sure you remember Commanders Dais and Firehawk." she said as a
>matter of introduction.
>

"Of course," he said with a slight tilt of his head to them.

>
>"I wish to thank you for agreeing to speak with me. The last meeting
was,
>unfortunate, and I am here to appologize on behalf of Starfleet Command
and
>the United Federation of Planets. As one would surely agree that was not

>one of our finest examples of diplomacy. I wish to assure you, that
>Commander Lasiter does not speak for the Federation, Starfleet, or the
>Commander in Chief of Starfleet. His thoughts and words were entirely
his
>own. Part of my intention here today is to rectify the incident, and to
>further the good relations that our governments, and peoples, have
>enjoyed." she said completely polite and dignified, as a proper diplomat

>would.

"I appreciate the gesture, as does my government, Admiral," V'nquera replied smoothly,
"Believe me, when you get to be my age, very little cannot be explained away by the
brashness of youth. We also understand that Commander Lasiter is not a trained
diplomat. The Venasian government does not feel
our previous meeting affected our diplomatic relations. How may we help you today?"

"Admiral Lasiter has sent me here to convey his desire, the Federation's desire, to
maintain the good relations that our peoples have enjoyed for sometime now. The
Admiral also has some concerns that he would like me to address with you. Concerned
with the lack of fully operational diplomatic mission on Terra. The extended absense
of Tramea D'amondra, especially considering the deep relationship, the bond if you
will, between the Tramea and the Admiral. The lack of communication regarding the
pending change in government. Each by itself, while most serious, is only made more
difficult when put together."

t'Llhweiir was ever so diplomatic and polite as she spoke. She hinted at the Bond
between Lasiter and Celana as a major concern, while not exactly saying so. She also
let the Venasian know that the secret is out, at least the Intelligence community and
a some of Starfleet Command know about it.
