"Unfortunately, the T'remea is tied up on official business at the moment. As a member
of General A'amon's diplomatic staff, she will be travelling quite a bit in the next
several months and is unlikely to be returning to the Terran section of space anytime
soon. Whatever matter Admiral Lasiter has to discuss with her, I am sure her
successor will be more than qualified
to address. We do appreciate your interest in her personal health, and rest assured,
we do have our best physicians tending to her. She has always had a delicate
constitution, even as a novice."

It was clear to Carrhae that Celana was not returning and was not able to. Promotions
or transfers had nothing to do with it either. She had always had a distrustful
nature. Escaping one's home world and a lifetime spent within the ranks of
Intelligence tended to do that to folks. She decided to remain plesant. It did the
young Lasiter little good.

"Please convey to the General that the Federation would love to receive him in his new
capacity. we do hope that he will be so kind as to pay us a visit on his diplomatic
tour. If you don't mind my asking, what other governments is the General and T'ramea
visiting on their current tour?" she ask ever so politely.
