This peaked Brennan's interest, and sent a note to the CMO that he wanted copies of everything- scans, lab results, lists of procedures performed, video of those procedure, the works. With the strange things happening, he wanted to be sure that nothing happened to the results, and he wanted to be able to offer assistance. Matthew also told the CMO out in the field to be sure to contact either him or Dr. Lucas Ryan on earth. Dr. Ryan was one of a rare few that had any knowledge of Venasian phyiology, let alone be one of the experts...
Report came back:
Venasian Male 1 died during overnight observation. Death was attributed to trauma from space exposure, acute burns, and internal bleeding due to trauma. Body has been transported to mortuary for transfer to the Venasian authorities.
Venasian Male 2 is listed in stable but critical condition, still sedated.
