Audra glanced around to take a look at the facility in the hopes of getting the general feeling of it.
As a public transport facility, there were several docking bays and platforms. There are quite a few people - of many races - milling about, waiting, as well as your usual refreshment stands. Some security, of course, but they all look like the normal Pacifican security which would be in place in any port.
"I am new to your world. I was wondering if you folks could suggest some sites that I might want to visit while I am here?"
"The main Pacifican capitol building is very historic and beautiful, as is the main fountain plaza surrounding it. As you know, the Pacifica Peace Accords between the Federation and Klingon empire were also signed here. And the mountains and lakes surrounding the city are very peaceful and beautiful. We do appreciate that they have preserved their natural heritage."
"Things seem so quiet here. I would have thought it would be different with all the political excitement that has been going on."
"I doubt the changes in one government would severely impact those of the other cultures here," the Venasian woman replied, "and as a people, Pacificans are very peaceful. It is one reason we prefer living here to living in one of the outlying colonies."
