"I doubt the changes in one government would severely impact those of the
other cultures here," the Venasian woman replied, "and as a people,
Pacificans are very peaceful. It is one reason we prefer living here to
living in one of the outlying colonies."

Audra studied the woman for a moment.  "What are the differences between living here and living on the colony worlds?"
