>"The fleet is in shock, but moving quick. Starships in almost every port
are getting ready to leave port. Border areas are preparing for the first
wave of an invasion, in case our neighbors want to use the oppertunity to
pick up some high rent territory. But that's not what I was calling about.
Kettering is trying to calm people down. A few people think that he could
be responsible for the funeral attack. From what I heard he is trying like
mad to reassure the others that he was not behind this. While he is having
some success at convincing other that he is not a total piece of crap for
trying to off a man as he burries his son. An officer that fell in the
line of duty, no less. Kettering is having very little success convincing
people to remain aligned to him. He is losing support, and anyone that
shows that they have what it takes to deal with this situation and lead...
Let's just say that they will hold sway in the fleet for a good while.
Maybe long enough to earn their complete trust..."

"I underrrstand what you'rrre saying, Jamison," she said. "I think rrright
now, we have firrres to put out and glorrry will come laterrr forrr those
who do theirrr duty. And I must do mine. I have to go rrreporrt to
Admirrral Lasiterrr who is meeting with the Prrresident as we speak.
Whoeverrr is behind this has arrroused a rrrighteous wrrrath in him I'm not
surrre anyone can stand against."

"I fully understand, Admiral. For what it's worth, I don't think that Kettering is
behind this. It's not like him. He has served in the fleet for all of his adult
life. He has survived combat, and burried friends. This kind of attack is not the
kind that any officer of his length of service could take part in. For what it's
worth, Admiral, a lot of us extend out condolenses to Admiral Lasiter."

When the call was complete, Aurellius was waiting. "I just got word from our people
on Spacedock that the space doors have been opened, and starships are pulling out. I
also have some bad news to report. Commander M'Rrenn was listed as missing in the
aftermath of the sniper attack. Unfortunately, he has been located.", he said handing
over another PADD to her.
