How could she answer when she was not sure herself?  After what had happened 
today, she had expected to nearly attack him in her desire to be with him.  
Instead, she barely stood in the same room with him.  

She loved him with a fierceness that went beyond comprehension.  She had shared 
his thoughts--as she had shared her own with him--in the mindmeld and knew him 
at levels few humans could achieve.  

But she had held him in her arms as he died.  

"It has been a difficult day," she replied simply.

"I can see that.  You have hardly come into the room.  I've nothing that's contageous, 
nor am I fragile.  Come and sit.  You need someone to take care of your for a little 
bit.", he said patting the bed side.  There was plenty of room for her to sit with 
him.  His voice has a different tone to it.  This time more loving, as if he wanted to 
wrap his arms around her so they could share in their mutual strength and 
vulnerability.  If for only a few moments....
