The human responded with a nod.  "Admiral Kitanya had mentioned that.  Did you get any impressions about him or what he had to say as you were observing our conversation?"
 
"He was feeling you out as you were him.  Seeing just how you reacted, how you questioned him.  He will react very differently the next time you question him.", answered the Caitian.
 
"Pity we can't use the old methods on them.", retorted a Klingon.  Making reference to the interrogations that the Klingons had a reputation for.
 
 Daphne eyed the speaker.  While she had come to respect the Klingons through the many years she worked with them, she did not share their need to respond to everything with violence.  "I don't think that that would work in this situaiton. I think it would drive the Felinids to resist, gaining confidence from their abilities to withstand the pain and still not give us the information that they need.  We need to gain their respect.  They view us as being beneath them, and they are not going to talk as long as they see us that way."
