>T'Kresh waited a moment to hear Melora's response to Watson's request, but it seemed that it was not forthcoming. "Ambassador Damesh, I believe that you owe >Ambassador Watson and the rest of this Council a response. You knew the reason why we wanted you to make arrangements for us to meet with Golan Dulath. >Yet it appears that you have come to us with a series of lies about his whereabouts. What do you have to say about this."

>For the first time since she joined the Council. It was clear that Melora Damesh was flustered. "I did not speak with Mr. Dulath directly. I only received a report >from Central Command and forwarded you the information that I provided. I did not lie."

>A sarcastic laugh sounded from Valtris. "You have got to be kidding, Ambassador. Since you first joined the Council you have held all of us in contempt. You have >lied, cheated, and done whatever you think is necessary to get what you want. In fact, as Mr. Dulath's diplomatic aide you did the same. You expect us to believe >that you have no idea what has happened to him. I find that extremely hard to believe."

Watson spoke up but he kept his voice level, "Ambassador Damesh, you don't like us-that much has been obvious in your facial gestures since I've joined the Council-even before my original motion. As a member of this Council we need to work together not as enemies no matter what our respective world histories have been. I challenge you Ambassador to present Golan Dulath to us on your honor."
