At 0800, Lucas showed up at Garibaldi's doorstep, dressed in civilian clothes and toting two bags - one his clothes and personal effects, and the other his medical bag. He rang the doorbell.
"Come in.", called a voice from inside.

When he entered he saw Garibaldi sitting at a table drinking a cup of coffee. His bags were packed, waiting by the door.
He looked up and saw young, Dr. Ryan. "Good morning, Lucas. Come have some coffee before we go." he paused a moment.... "Now, before you get your undies in a twist, this is decaf with a non-fat artificial creamer and absolutely no sugar. I have been drinking coffee this way for some time now."
