t'Llwheiir knew that they had likely seen the jacket and scarf, both of which
showed signs of recent wear (slight dampness from the morning dew). Plus, why
would she be fully dressed and wide awake at 3 a.m.?
"I did leave," she said, answering only the question he asked.
He was a bit surprised at her candor. There was a great respect that was built with
that answer.
"May I ask why you left without us?"
