"It was personal," t'Llwheiir replied. She knew that he and his team had been

minimize the damage. "I left without notice using a means that you were not
able to detect nor prevent. The responsibility is mine.
She could detect the subtle change in his demeanor. The Chief was pleased by her
candor. It was something that he was not used to especially, from flag ranked
officers. Yet, at the same time, he was disappointed by her answer. He certainly
could understand, but still...
"Thank you ma'am. We will be relieved in a few moments. Is there anything you wish
me to convey in my report?"
