Twenty minutes later, Aravis stepped back into the shuttle bay in which the
team from Spacedock had arrived.  She mader her way down the bay until she
located the Blackstone.  There were a number of technicians working on it to
fine tune the sensors in preparation for their mission.  She stepped aboard
and awaited the arrival of Dr. Ingolsdottir, Commander McTiernan and the
rest of the team.

A few moments later, Hilda stepped into the bay and made her way over to the Blackstone.  She had pretty much quickly unpacked and grabbed something to eat before making her way to the rendez vous before the launch.

"Greetings, Lieutenant.  I see that we are just about ready to go," she said as she saw the station's technicians gathering their things together in order to leave.

"I have a question ... or rather an observation."

"One thing that we have not considered is that this phenomenon could be some sort of biological machine. While we have little to no experience with that sort of technology, there is nothing to say that technological machines are the only way to advance a society's technology.  It is not as if the Federation has not experiences such technology in the past."
