Audra turned her chair around. "Well, hello there, stranger.
Long time, no
see." Audra was just being friendly. "Hey. Well lookie here. What brings you down here tonight, stranger?" Audra smiled. "Not much. Just enjoying dinner with a new friend." She glanced toward Joanna. "Have you met Counselor Joanna Kirk yet?" "I can't say that I have had the pleasure." "Joe, this is Joanna Kirk. Joanna, this is Joe Garibaldi." "Good evening, Counselor. Pleased to meet you.", Joe said coming over to their table. His hand was outreached in the typical earther greeting. Joanna accepted the hand and shoop it. "As am I to meet you," she replied. She had not yet met the young officer, but she could tell that he was friendly. "I understand that you and Audra are friends?" she said, throwing everything on the table. Audra thought she was going to die of embarrassment because the way Joanna
had said the last comment made it seem like there was more to the relationshop
than friends. She was about to speak up when Joe responded.
