Suddenly, she felt awkward in Lasiter's presence. Never had she felt strain
even before their friendship had developed. She tried to keep it from her
expression, however. "Is there anything further?" she asked.
Lasiter was still angry. Angry over the attack on yet more Starfleet personnel, and
angry with her. He would get over it. The question was when.
"No. That'all.", he said plainly. He didn't want the awkwardness to go on for any
longer than necessary.
