She raised an eyebrow.  The remark was beneath him, even if he was angry.  How
much of that anger was based on her disobedience, and how much of it was his
reaction to her grasp at happiness at a time when he was obviously still
grieving, she wondered to herself.

There was nothing positive she could say in response, so she left her boss and
friend without another word.

"Thank you."  She entered.
