The Runabout glided toward the dark spot of Jupiter. There was little indication of changes as they approached, but the radiation level was starting to rise as they approached.
Hilda turned to the others from her console. "I am showing a ship coming in fast. She looks like a Peregrine-class shuttle. She is heading our way."
The dark spot quickly began to morph. It was taking on the characteristics that were captured by the missing scientists.
Aravis took the Runabout into a series of evasive maneuvers, backing them away from the spot. "What is happening with the approaching shuttle?"

"Warn them off the area. Tell them that the area has been closed off to space traffic because of a natural phenomenon that is endangering the space lanes."
