David didn't like the reply but had no choice, "All right. Can we have some Vulcan music piped in here if possible. If we can stimulate him more it may help?"

Doing so would do no harm. It might even do some good. "I believe we coule manage to do that. It might be more helpful to provide the Commander with some Klingon operas," she suggested. It was more of a question than anything since she assumed that the Captain knew the Klingon Security Chief better than she did.

"Pardon me, yes...Klingon operas focussing on perseverance and strength..." He took a deep breath, "All right. I have to get back to Commander Wilson." He took K'Tael's hand again, "Stay strong...we need you back."

David felt the hand compress slightly. In fact, it was a little more than slight. K'Tael's grip caused the Captain a little bit of pain.
