"Thanks for the precautions," Wilson said.  "Have you had a chance to look her
over?"

Harrison, who had been chewing on a toothpick, removed it before speaking.  "That we have, ma'am.  For the most part, the ship took a beating, but most of the damage was due to the impact on the planet's surface.  In fact, she probably saved most of you because of all her safety systems."

The Tellarite shook his head.  "There was no indication of any sabotage.  There was some damage on the nacelles.  Those are consistant with the type of damage that builds up after repeatedly being hit by energy weapons."
