Lasiter gave Matt a good firm handshake and a congratulations. Matt accepted teh handshake and squeezed Sam's shoulder. "Thank you," he said, "for honoring us with your presence." "The honor is mine, Good Doctor. It is not everyday that I am asked to be a best man.", he said seemingly enjoying himself. "Everyone, if you please, would you come back inside so we can toast the happy couple?" Carrhae was surprised at this request. The meal was set across the way. Normally, the toasts would have occurred there. Then, she saw Turner and his team. Something was going on. Lasiter notices the security presence. With the attack at the funeral still fresh in his mind, he begins to worry about what might be happening. Matt's eyes narrowed and he silently cursed himself for not noticing what was going on around them. He felt no Immortal Buzz, however, so this likely was a mortal threat. That being the case, SF security should have been more than up for the task.
