She shook her head and gestured to a small conversation pit near a
corner wall. "Please, sit with me for a moment. We can not continue until the intruder situation is concluded."
Hesitantly ,he sat with her, letting her pick the topic of conversation.
Once they were both seated, she studied him for a moment. They might both be suffering through a troubled time in their friendship, but that did not change in the least the presence of that relationship.
"Samuel, are you well?" she asked. "You seem more tired." Her concern for him
showed clearly on her face.
