He turned to do one of his now-obsessive checks as his back had been towards
the doorway, not knowing Joanna thought he was leaving. Then he turned back
unexpectedly and they ended up nose-to-nose.  David took in a deep
breath-her scent filling his nostrils. Even though it was an inappropriate
stance for both of them as patient-counselor, he didn't want to back away.
All he could get out was, "Uhhh...."
