With that, he departed and made his way to the nearest turbolift. After taking a moment to scan the station directory in the car, he selected the desired deck and was on his way. The doors parted to reveal a hallway in the diplomatic area of the station. While the rest of the space was somewhat spartan, the hall was fairly ornate. The entrance to each embassy was ornately decorated in the style of its people. Some of the embassies were for foreign powers like the Klingons while others were consulates for various Federation members.

It was quickly obvious which of the spaces was reserved for the Klingons. Even with today's modern technology, the Klingons always seemed to decorate with heavy use of dinginess, darkness, and rust. Chase enterred the embassy and made his way over to the reception area.

The space was dark and seemed to be lit with a red tinge. Since Klingons saw further into the red end of the spectrum, that should not be of any surprise to visitors. While it was not ornately decorated, a number of weapons were filed along the walls. They were clearly ceremonial in natures since they were ornately carved and hung against beautiful brocades and velvets. While many were Klingon, the selection was not limited to that race. The others were probably collected as gifts or through the travels of the Ambassador.

There was a lovely Klingon woman seated at the reception area. She looked up with icy blue eyes at Chase and smiled. Surprisingly her teeth were in fairly even condition. It was clear that she had likely had some dental work done at some point. "Welcome to the Klingon Embassy. How may I help you?"
