Lorin finished meeting with the good doctor and decided it was time to return
home.
He went back to Spacedock and as soon as he was onboard he hit his comm,
"Computer locate Admiral Lasiter."
[[ADMIRAL SAMUEL LASTER IS IN OPERATIONS]]
Lorin hustled up to Ops and rang Lasiter's chime.
"Come.", called Lasiter.
"The committee crucified me.I think I held up better than they expected, and we
came to some agreements on some issues. However they want to meet with you upon
your return."
"I expected as much. They wanted to see just how far they could push you. How
much they could impose their will upon you and Starfleet. The important thing
is that they got thier pound of flesh, and you got them to work with you. The
next time will be easier, not that it will be any fun. However, it will be
easier. Now, when I go with you to the Committee, they will probably leave you
alone. They'll have a bigger fish to sink their claws into. Me..... So, tell
me the details. What happened?"
