Geb decided to jump into the conversation before tempers became too short. If push came to shove, Torgath could not win a fight against someone so much bigger, particularly since Shevab was a silicon based lifeform. He probably packed quite a punch. "We could send out a notice to Commander K'Tael to come to Security as soon as he is out of his meeting."

{Very well, then notify me when he has arrived as I will be returning to my post. I have given both my statement, oral and written, along with visual recordings of the incident, thus I have satisfied all requirements as a material witness.} said the Commander.

Torgath stood up and stood in the way of the Horta. "You misunderstand us, Commander. You *will* be waiting here until Commander K'Tael returns."

Just then the Klingon Security Chief strode into the area and noticed that his smallest officer seemed to be on the defensive. "Can I help you, gentlemen?"

Torgath turned toward the voice and saw that his superior had arrived at a most opportune time. "Sir, it seems that we have had another attack. Commander Shevab here was taken hostage in his office by a gentleman named Adam Leaver. We looked into his records, and Leaver works for Starfleet in San Francisco."

K'Tael studied the little officer for a moment before speaking. "While I can understand your wanting Commander Shevab to speak with me, adding to his injuries is probably not the best way for a Starfleet Security guard sent to help should be behaving, Ensign." It was clear that K'Tael was not happy, but he decided to put that aside for the moment. "Are you all right, Commander Shevab?"

(response?)

"What can you tell me about his assailant?" asked the Klingon. He raised a hand to add something before the Horta could respond. "Please remember that I am just coming into knowledge of what has occured. Describe his appearance, his actions, and everything that he said."

(response?)

"Was there anything directly said or done that could confirm that he was a member of the Brotherhood of Humanity rather than another hate group?"

(response?)

K'Tael looked back to his two officer. "Mr. Breknor, please forgive me for not welcoming you to the station before diving into work, but I am sure that you understand."

The Brikarian understood fully. "Yes, sir. It is a pleasure to meet you."

"Can you two tell me what you found as you went to Engineering?"

"One of Commander Shevab's people told us that he was being held in his officer by a human male. Apparently, she had already had a chance to communicate with him and was in the process of disengaging the weapons of the assailant. We were able to pop the door, rush him, and all was done with."

(tag?)
