"What can you tell me about his assailant?" asked the Klingon. He raised a hand to add something before the Horta could respond. "Please remember that I am just coming into knowledge of what has occured. Describe his appearance, his actions, and everything that he said."

{First off, he seemed overly assured at his success, but upon my talking with him, he seemed not to have much in the way of plans for his actual deed and escape, nor much on Fleet protocals, as like when he fired the phaser to disable the door setting off alarms. I was able to contact my 3rd and she was able to disable his weapon, place shields up and summon Security.} answered the Horta.

"Was there anything directly said or done that could confirm that he was a member of the Brotherhood of Humanity rather than another hate group?"

{He said so, saying my death would be a message to other 'aliens' from the Brotherhood. I disturbed his mental eqilibrium by saying there was a mirror organization that wanted humans out of thier systems, which he could not seem to fathom, nor the fact that he was a pawn and expendable.}

K'Tael looked back to his two officer. "Mr. Breknor, please forgive me for not welcoming you to the station before diving into work, but I am sure that you understand."

The Brikarian understood fully. "Yes, sir. It is a pleasure to meet you."

"Can you two tell me what you found as you went to Engineering?"

"One of Commander Shevab's people told us that he was being held in his officer by a human male. Apparently, she had already had a chance to communicate with him and was in the process of disengaging the weapons of the assailant. We were able to pop the door, rush him, and all was done with."

"I believe we owe your staff person a 'thank you,' Commnader. She seemed to be right on top of things," said K'Tael as he turned toward the Horta.

{A commemndation is well on it's way into her file,} said Commander Shevab.

"Is there anything else about the situation that you think we should know?"

{Only that he needed help onto and then off the station, something that may need to be checked as quickly as possible. Also that the word of my 'death' at his hands may be useful in flushing some of them out if need be.'} replied the Horta.

Shevab moved a bit on his hoverboard, {I could have died from my wounds in sickbay, and I can get around the Station undetected by Jefferies tubes if need be.}

"I am not ready to do that, just yet. We can keep things quiet about your status for now. I would like to bring in Admiral Renaud on this and decide what he would like to do if that is all right. Until we are sure, you are going to have to stay here. We would not want anyone to notice how lively you are if we are going to take you up on your suggestion."

(response?)

The Klingon tapped his comm badge. "Commander K'Tael to Admiral Renaud."

(response?)

"Sir, if you could come down here to Security right away, I would appreciate it. I think there is something that you should be apprised of right away."

(response?)
