Jared shook his head. "It is limited only to upper brass. To be
honest, I am not sure why I even warrant it. It would be nice
addition to have along, though. Our compliments number four guards."
"I had a unit of 4...maybe 6 with me before..it didn't help." It was
clear David was terrified about being captured again but was
conflicted
in this do-or-die duty.
"Hopefully, this will be a little different since these will be our
men
rather then locals that are being assigned to us. They will not be
answerable to Admiral VanDerLoo or anyone else besides us."
David saw the point, "I'll meet you at the Docking Bay in 2 hours."
"Understood, Captain," he replied.
David left and went to his quarters...
Once Boulay was gone, Jared decided it was time to break the news to
Joanna Kirk. "Admiral Jackson to Commander Kirk."

"Commander, I have an assignment for you. Captain Boulay and I were
going to be looking into his recent assignment, and we were hoping that
you would be able to join us on the trip. I think you could a great
deal of help to the investigation and to David in particular."
