Marconis had read plenty about the Klingons and knew of their prowess as warriors. However, this one showed an impressive talent for diplomacy. He
would watch this one closely....

"Indeed Koomah. Indeed. The Starfleet observers on Rames told us about
the warrior prowess and code of honor of the Klingon people. He failed to
mention that you were superb diplomats as well."

The Emisary most definately seemed to have relaxed a bit.

Dolari watched this intervention while smoothing her features into the sedate, unreadably calm expression typical of Venasians. She felt no particular need to flatter her way back into the conversation, especially when the initial approach by the Emissary was to insult her. Instead, she said, "Thank you, Ambassador," to the Klingon. She personally liked Klingons, and had even studied Klingon sword-art for a short time before being assimilated by the Borg. "If the Ambassadors and Emissary will excuse me, it is getting close to my regeneration period and I must return to my quarters." She tilted her head in the traditional manner and excused herself.

Dai'Cou bowed his head to acknowledge her need to leave. "Thank you for joining us, Madam Tremea."

(anyone else?)

ooc: Venasians have to regenerate in water every 30 hours or so - since they're from an aquatic environment, the physical stresses of being out of water require it. Plus, she's also Borg-ified, so that's a double-whammy for her.

(OOC: That actually sounds kind of cool if not inconvenient. Reminds me of the species from the old Star Wars comics from the 70's and 80's)
