(OOC: This takes place after the briefing with Gabe Ares)
Ariel made her way back to the station. She had lunch plans. For
once, Starfleet had helped make things easy for a family get together.
Four members were currently on the station. Her ship was currently
docked at the station, at least for the forseeable future. Her sister
Daphne and sister-in-law Celine and her brother Gabe were also
currently assigned to the station. They were going to celebrate with
some lunch.
As she reached the end of the docking walkway, she found Daphne
standing there with a smile. Her familiar dark brown hair and green
eyes seemed to make the place seem like home. What was a little
different was the slight touch of graying that was starting to speckle
her hair.
Daphne walked over and gave her sister a hug. "Have you seen Gabe or
Celine, yet?"
"No,"Daphne responded as she took a step back to take in her sister.
Her younger sister was not much different since the last time she had
seen her. She had the same reddish brown hair and the same way of
carrying her confidence evident. They should be a long shortly.
Just then a familiar voice spoke up. "Hello, ladies!"
The two turned to see their sister-in-law approaching. Celine had her
hair pulled back. The dark hair and pale purple eyes seemed almost
haunting at times, but the brightness of her smile overcame that.
Somehow, some of her hair always seemed to escape no matter how hard
she tried to keep it tied back. "The kids were sad to hear that they
weren't going to be able to join us, but I told them that school comes
first."
Ariel and Daphne walked over and each gave her a hug. "Has anyone
thought of where we could do lunch?"
Celine smiled. "I was thinking that we could transport down to Earth
and do lunch in the Old City."
The two sisters looked at each other and smiled. "That sounds
wonderful."
While the briefing that Gabe had just completed was a difficult,
stress-filled one, the next event in his schedule was one that he had
been looking forward to since he first heard of the possibility. He
had quickly made his way onto the main concourse on the deck that
Audra's ship was docked on. It did not take him long to find the
boarding tube. Standing at its entrance was his family. He walked
over with a smile, "It looks like the party can officially start. We
are all here."
