"Of course, Admiral. I do have a briefing with Admiral Van Der Loo that should begin shortly, but it shouldnt' take too long. I can be ready to go in just inside of 2 hours, sir."

He said quietly to Joanna, "Van Der Loo is hitting all his marks ahead of time to shut them up."

Jared did not think that this was something that his fellow Admiral had set up. He had now doubt that Van Der Loo was out to make things difficult. He did not think Van Der Loo would be that quick. The other Admiral had to know that they had been stopped in speaking with Abrams. He could not know that their next choice would be Stark. "Do you think you could squeeze us in
before hand? We would be willing to provide you with transport up here."

"That I could, Admiral. I'll be expecting you."

"Understood and thank you, Colonel." said the Admiral before closing the line. He turned back to the rest of his team. "It looks like we are in business."

"Good idea bringing him here...maybe he could have some company attending the Briefing? That'd shake up Vanderloo."

"That will be up to him. I am not sure I want Van Der Loo to know that we are talking to him. It might lead to intimidation again if it becomes common knowledge." The Admiral started preppping the ship for launch.

Joanna glanced toward David. "That would also mean convincing Admiral Van Der Loo that we should be included. While we are here on an investigation, that does not mean that we have full access to everything that is going on in the sector. What we have access to is limited to the pervue of what we are doing here, and I am not sure how cleared for that I would be."
