Admiral Jackson made his way over to one of the consoles at the back of the
room, where he opened a comm line tot he panel. He wanted to see if
Colonel Stark was available.
Stark was at his desk, and Jared was patched trough quickly.
"Admiral Jackson, I was not expecting to hear from you so soon. How may I
help you?"
"Good day, Colonel. My team and I were out in the sector investigating a
number of incidents that are of concern to Starfleet. I was hoping that you
could take a few minutes to meet with us." Jared seemed to be implying that
they had not necessarily spoken earlier. "We would be willing to stop by on
our runabout and talk to you while in transit. We are hoping to visit a
number
of sites on the planet during the investigation. Having you along could
also prove helpful with navigation."
"Of course, Admiral. I do have a briefing with Admiral Van Der Loo that should
begin shortly, but it shouldnt' take too long. I can be ready to go in just
inside of 2 hours, sir."
