>"So after we finish lunch we head down to the planet?" He finished his
meal,
>"I'm ready."

>The Admiral nodded. "That should work out fine. I believe all it would
>take is a quick call down to the planet to set up an appointment."

>David nodded.

>Admiral Jackson made his way over to one of the consoles at the back of the
>room, where he opened a comm line tot he panel. He wanted to see if
Colonel
>Stark was available.

>David looked at Joanna, "Coffee??" As he walked to the replicator.

>"A coffee would be wonderful," she replied. "If it is programmed into the
>replicator, a hazelnut coffee would be heaven right about now," she
>continued as she kneaded her neck.

He ordered her coffee and returned to hand it to her, a small cup each of
cream and sugar on the side. After he handed it to her, he motioned for her
to turn around and started to massage her neck, :"Anything for my favorite
doc..tor...." The last part slid quietly as his feelings for her returned to
the forefront.

In the meantime he could hear Jackson talking to Stark:

>"Good day, Colonel. My team and I were out in the sector investigating a
>number of incidents that are of concern to Starfleet. I was hoping that you
>could take a few minutes to meet with us." Jared seemed to be implying
that
>they had not necessarily spoken earlier. "We would be willing to stop by
on
>our runabout and talk to you while in transit. We are hoping to visit a
number
>of sites on the planet during the investigation. Having you along could
>also prove helpful with navigation."

>"Of course, Admiral. I do have a briefing with Admiral Van Der Loo that
should begin shortly, but it >shouldnt' take too long. I can be ready to go
in just inside of 2 hours, sir."

He said quietly to Joanna, "Van Der Loo is hitting all his marks ahead of
time to shut them up."
