Stark started heading toward the door. "We should get a move on. The Admiral is not the nicest person to be around if you show up late."

David didn't like it one bit but he followed orders and leftwith Stark and Kirk.

Stark took them to Van Der Loo's office suite. The receptionist was at the desk and indicated that they could go right into the Admiral's office.

He was seated at his desk going over some PADDs when they arrived. He looked up as his office door shushed open. He was clearly surprised, and a little annoyed, to see that Stark was not alone, particularly considering who the people were. "How can I help you follks?" he asked.

David took a seat between Stark and Kirk-he froze his emotions, "Captain Boulay and Commander Kirk reporting as ordered by Admiral Jackson, sir. It was requested that we sit in on your briefing."

The Counselor stood near the door. She had followed Stark into the room, but she was willing to wait to be introducted to the Admiral once again before becoming the center of attention.
