Alas, this doesn't seem to be working properly. I succeeded in populating two
Ubuntu repos, and did my best to set up the client (used the devops blog series
of articles). I can see in the Spacewalk UI that osad is running, and that my
Ubuntu server checks in. I ran "rhn-actions-control --enable-run", and can run
a remote command. Beyond that, if I try to e.g. install a new package from the
UI, or I run apt-get on the client itself, I get a bunch of emails sent to me
with tracebacks. I've up'd one here: https://pastebin.com/ijQa1DS3 , and if
anyone can interpret it as a means of getting my setup working properly, I'd
really appreciate it.

Dimitri

Paul-Andre,

Thanks for sticking with this! It was the Architecture that I had wrong. I
appreciate your straightening me out on it. My first Ubuntu repo is populating
now. I think I've got the first Ubuntu client machine configured for Spacewalk
properly; it is registered and showing in Spacewalk. With fingers (and toes
and eyes) crossed, I'll try doing a package update in a while, and will
hopefully report success.

Dimitri

Check that your channels have the right settings for checksum type (SHA256) and
Architecture (AMD64 Debian). If they don't then you will need to delete and
recreate them.
