1. It is really rude to hijack someone's bug entry by changing the summary, the
status, and the issue just because you think you have a better idea than the
original bug report. If you have another issue to bring up open a new report.

2. Lint is supposed to show warnings that are not errors. That's what a 'lint'
is for. See the definition of "lint" as used in computer jargon at
http://www.clueless.com/jargon3.0.0/lint.html

What's with this "your" bugs? If you want to be one of the people who so
helpfully test the in development version of SVN head, then you are welcome to
find bugs and submit patches to fix them. SVN head is for people for whom they
are "our" bugs. Yes it is useful when someone reports a previously undiscovered
bug or supplies insights that help the people who fix them. Complaints over
minor issues that are not important enough to you to fix are much less helpful.
