I'm experiencing the same behavior with SA 2.63 and ClamAV 0.73, as is this gentleman:

Any ideas on what's going on would be greatly appreciated. :)

Peace....

Well, The guy your are linking to (Daniel Urstger ) is having problems because he's using qmail-scanner and he's trying to change message-tagging settings in SA's local.cf.

qmail-scanner does not honor SA message-tagging options, as it does it's own Markup. Daniel should read the Qmail-Scanner FAQ:

http://qmail-scanner.sourceforge.net/FAQ.php

Harald Arnold is not having this problem, as he appears to have configured Amavis to do this. However, it is fundamentally an Amavis issue, not a SA issue, and I'm no expert on amavis. It looks right to me, but...

Tom Q, You didn't really say how you are calling SA, so I can make no conclusions about your problem. Are you using an integration tool, or just calling spamc from procmail or what?

In general those who use Qmail-scanner, Amavis, MailScanner, Mimedefang or any other tools that generate their own markups MUST configure their mail-scanning tool, not local.cf, and should read the FAQs and/or manuals for those products.
