Don't worry, I had no intention to blame you. ;-)

The thing with this kind of limit is that it makes not too much sense
for people with dynamic IP addresses. If I am unlucky, the person who
had my IP address assigned before me has already connected to during
the last 24 hours, so I'm screwed. On the other hand, if I chose to
disconnect/reconnect every 5 minutes (eeek!) and always get a new IP
address, the server is screwed. The "access quota" just does not seem
to be worth the trouble. Maybe Squid in HTTP accelerator mode would be
an alternative, or is bandwidth itself a problem?
