I've installed SpamBayes on about a dozen Outlook setups, but I've never
succeeded in getting it to work with Thunderbird, which is what I use.

I get the point of setting the port to get mail from via localhost, but
I can't quite see how to send the user name and password to the POP3
server through (or is it with?) SpamBayes so that the connection is made.

Clues for the clueless, please?

Thanks,

Allen
