I submitted a troubleshooting report. On the surface it appears that it's not syncing if I modify the address fields. When I changed one of the telephone fields, the address fields were updated, but I lost all phone numbers and email address for that contact (From both Apple Address Book and Google Contacts). After re-adding the missing data to the Apple Address Book and syncing one more time...It worked. Charles
