Hey,

Today I finally set up multiple calendars on both iCal and Google
Calendar, extracting events of my early, single calendar and adding
them into the others. So now I have 5 calendars, synched between my
MacBook and my iPhone. When I came home to do the same on my G5, I was
asked if I wanted to delete some 100 events.

Dumb me, I clicked Yes, assuming it was just deleting duplicates
(which always appear when I sync after some major changes). So I
deleted all events in my primary calendar. Unfortunately, the iPhone
had already synched back with Google, leaving no traces. Not a big
thing because I keep separate (paper) notes of future events, but I'm
kinda sad that I deleted a calendar reaching back about 2 years.

The log helps, but it shows only a portion as it seems. Any help?
Also, there is a lot of deleting and adding of the same events, for
example:

"
Aug 04 18:15:55 -- Deleted event: InDesign Seminar (All day)
Aug 04 18:15:55 -- Added calendar event: InDesign Seminar (All day)
Aug 04 18:15:55 -- Deleted event: Einführung Druckzentrum @ 2009-02-03
17:00
Aug 04 18:15:55 -- Added calendar event: Einführung Druckzentrum @
2009-02-03 17:00
"

Note that all-day-events don't have a date (!)

My request would also be an easier way to replace data on either
Google OR the Mac, because most of the time I want my Google Calendar
left untouched (it's the core of all that synching, to say the least),
replacing my iCal instead. Same goes for Address Book by the way.

Thanks in Advance, gonna go re-add all those events I deleted.
Jannis
