I am trying out Spanning Sync, and I find that I can't install it as a local PrefPane on my system. From an Mac account with admin permissions (actually the only account on my computer), if I install Spanning Sync in the ~/Library/PrefPanes folder (either by double clicking on the Pref Pane, or by dragging the Pref Pane in the finder), when I try to open the Pref Pane in System Preferences, System Preferences just hangs. Installing "for all users" works just fine.
There may be something unusual about my system, I am among a group that also can't get some Adobe software to work correctly, but I don't have time right now to do a complete clean install of the system.
