I can't seem to make this work at all. I had a good copy of my address book on my Mac (I used Contact Cleaner). My good copy has 2014 contacts. So then I
1) Erase every contact in Google. Set Spanning Sync to synchronize Mac and Google. Reset Google. Wait an hour or so. 1937 contacts in Google. Additional syncs, no effect. 2) Erase every contact in Google. Set Spanning Sync to copy from Mac to Google. Reset Google. Aafter 1:30 hrs Spanning Sync I have 1,755 contacts on Google and Spanning Sync has crashed? 3) Copy all my contacts to Google using vcf cards. Now Google and Mac both have 2,014 contacts. Sync, and they still have 2,014 contacts. Change a contact on Mac, and bingo, the contact is duplicated to Google, not updated. 4) Copy all my contacts to Google using vcf cards. Delete all contacts on Mac. Set Spanning Sync to sync Google -> Mac. Wait. Now Mac has 1,983 contacts. Make a change on one contact on Mac, sync, change doesn't propagate. Log out of Google, log back into Google, now Google has 2,259 contacts. These are the same sort of problems I have synchronizing between Macs using .me. But I was hoping that Spanning Sync would do better than this. Any thoughts before I abandon the program? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Spanning Sync" group.
