You are doing better than I am with it. Here I just get "Loading
Spanning Sync..." at the top of the System Preferences Windows and it
does NOTHING. It's not hung up. I can click on ANY other icon and it
changes to that Preference. But Spanning Sync won't come up at all.
Activity Monitor says that System Preferences isn't doing anything.

Frustrating.
