I sync'd Address Book with Google Contacts. Both lists were perfect and in sync.
Since a lot of them needed to be cleaned up, I started cleaning them up, correcting errors, and so on in Address Book. The problem is the changes I am making are not editing the entries in Google, they are adding slightly changed duplicates. In other words, if I had "Johnn Smith" on my Mac and in Google, and I corrected the name to "John Smith" in Address Book, after sync Google has "Johnn Smith" and "John Smith" entries. That is not useful to say the least. Is this an error or a "feature" that I'm gonna hate? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Spanning Sync" group.
