I had the same problem except it told me it doesn't work on an Intel-
based Mac.

I uninstalled, but I noticed that the Spanning Sync Pref icon was
still in System Preferences. I don't know how to get rid of it, and
when I try to re-install and double-click the "Spanning Sync.prefPane"
icon as indicated, it asks me if I want to replace the existing pane,
I click replace, and then it tells me

Could not load Spanning Sync preference pane.

Help!
