I am having exactly the same issue. I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.8.
I've tried uninstalling by the uninstaller and reinstall Spanning Sync 3.2, but runs into the same issue. Finally, I have reverted to Spanning Sync 3.1.2 and it works fine for now. It looks like version 3.2 does NOT work on 10.5.x.
