That also at least partly explains why InsilicosViewer doesn't read it,
then.

Well, that and (in my case) WinZip helpfully expanding LF to CRLF, and
RAMPAdapter tipping over when the index didn't line up as a result.  It
would be nice if it would just ignore the index at that point instead of
throwing an exception.
