Hello, I have the same problem: restart does not help, new installation does not help. However, after making several attempts I have managed to install TPP and I can start it but not a single function works properly: I cannot generate mzXML from any raw files (Thermo and Waters) neither can I transform xml to any other format (such as pkl or mgf). Here is one output example:
c:\Inetpub\tpp-bin\massWolf -v --mzXML -z -g c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/ISB/data/markustest/MK-091130_A5.raw *c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/ISB/data/markustest/MK-091130_A5.mzXML.gz* [ Unreadable!] c:\Inetpub\tpp-bin\massWolf -v --mzXML -z -g c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/ISB/data/markustest/MK-091130_A5.raw ------------------------------ Settings: centroid scans: 0 compress scans: 1 verbose mode: 1 lockspray: 1 MS^E: 0 threshold: 0 force precursor selection from filter line: 0 mzML mode: 0 mzXML mode: 1 input filename: c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/ISB/data/markustest/MK-091130_A5.raw output filename: c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/ISB/data/markustest/MK-091130_A5.mzXML.gz output file as gzip: 1 *Command FAILED* Running from the command line also did not work. The strange thing is that this also did not work on anoother PC with a 32-bit WinXP! Only after re-installing WinXP, it did perform OK in botzh operating modes: browser and command line.
