Hi, I'm trying to get TPP running on my computer (mac os 10.6.4) by following the instructions on this website: http://tools.proteomecenter.org/wiki/index.php?title=TPP:Installing_on_Mac_OSX#boost_libraries
I have done everything up to "Configuring TPP for installation" and then I get a bit lost... Where do I go from here? - I found a post here on this forum (http://tinyurl.com/27j39ms) specifically for snow leopard. I downloaded the TPP code (TPP_4-3-1- src.zip), but I don't know what is meant by: In addition, you need to change the BOOST_BJAM_EXEC location to work on snow leopard. One final note is that the CGI/Makefile has an unsupported flag in one of the copy operations. and patch -p0 -i /path/to/attached/patch/file/copied/below (As you may have guessed by now, I'm pretty new to unix(-like) systems...) - On the site I was following, there is a lot of editing, changing and configuring, but none of the that is described in snow leopard installation or in the README_OSX file that came with the TPP code. Do I need to do all that? Any assistance/advise to get TPP running is much appreciated!
