Is is possible to have the mz-intensity info from the mzXML MS2 info (or mgf info) embedded in the pepXML files? (The pepXML files are genereated via PeptideProphet after the mgf or mzXML files have been searched by either X!Tandem or OMSSA). To the best of our knowledge, the pepXML files do not contain the mz data nor is there an option in TPP xinteract (or PeptideProphet) to request that that info be populated. (FYI: In X!Tandem xml files, one can embedd the mz data; I think the same is true for Mascot xml files, but I'm not 100% positive about that.)
